Fence Painting & Staining
Sealed against Houston sun and rain
An unsealed cedar fence in Houston goes grey in two summers and starts cupping in three. Staining or painting it is cheap insurance on something you already paid a lot for. We wash it down, let it dry properly — a stain over damp wood will not penetrate and will not last — replace pickets that are past saving, and seal both sides where you want them done.
Our Process
Walk the Fence
We walk the run with you, flag what needs replacing, and confirm which sides you want done.
Wash & Dry
The fence is washed down and given time to dry — sealing damp wood traps the moisture behind the coating.
Repair
Split pickets, loose rails and failed fasteners are dealt with before the coating hides them.
Seal
Stain or paint goes on evenly, with the end grain and post tops covered, because that is where the rot starts.
