30 Years of
Houston Paint Jobs.

We're based in Northwest Houston and work within about a 50-mile radius — Houston, Spring Branch, Memorial, Katy, Cypress, Jersey Village, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands and Sugar Land, plus everything in between. If you're just outside that list, call and ask and we'll tell you straight whether we can get to you.

Interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting and refinishing, fence painting and staining, drywall repair and texture, popcorn ceiling removal, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and general remodeling and repairs. If your project touches several of those, that's normally an advantage — one person is accountable for the whole thing instead of four.

Delfino Monsivais has been painting and remodeling Houston homes for 30 years. Almost all of that work has come through referrals from previous customers, which is the only reason a business lasts that long without advertising.

The business is insured and operates under a registered DBA. Texas doesn't issue a statewide license for residential painting or general remodeling, so be cautious of anyone claiming to hold one. Ask us for our certificate of insurance when we come out to quote — you should be asking that of every contractor who bids your job.

Yes — new customers get 10% off their first job. Just mention it when you call so we can build it into the quote from the start.

Yes, free, and no obligation. We come out, look at the actual job, measure, and give you a written price. You're not signing anything at the walkthrough and we don't do high-pressure sales — if the number doesn't work for you, that's a completely reasonable answer.

It depends on the size, the condition and how much preparation the surfaces need, and we won't guess over the phone. A repaint of sound walls and a job that needs patching, caulking and priming first are very different amounts of work. We come out, look at it, and give you a written price before anything starts.

Almost always because there's less preparation in them. Materials cost roughly the same for everyone, so a dramatically lower price usually comes out of washing, scraping, patching, caulking and priming — the parts you can't see once the job is finished, and the parts that decide whether it lasts three years or ten. Ask any quote you get to spell out exactly what prep is included.

Delfino runs this business and is on the jobs. The person who quotes your project is the person accountable for it — not a salesman who hands you off to whoever happens to be free that week.

A single room is usually a day or two. A whole-home interior repaint is typically several days to a week depending on size and how much repair the walls need. Exteriors and cabinet refinishing depend heavily on the condition and the weather. We give you a realistic timeline at the quote rather than an optimistic one, and we tell you if something is going to run over.

For most jobs, yes. We seal off the work area, cover floors and furniture, and clean up at the end of each day. For a kitchen cabinet job you'll be without the cabinet doors for several days, and for popcorn ceiling removal the room is sealed off completely while we're in it — we'll walk you through the days that affect you so you can plan around them.

Yes. A list of repairs, one room, a fence, a few doors — that's still worth our time, and it's the kind of work a lot of larger outfits won't return a call about. Send us the whole list at once; ten small things in one visit costs you far less than the same ten spread across three.

Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Houston time. If you call outside those hours, leave a message and we'll get back to you.
