Our Story
DM Prestige Remodeling is run by Delfino Monsivais, who has been painting and remodeling houses in Houston for thirty years. The business operates under a registered DBA and is insured.
For most of those thirty years there was no website, no advertising and no marketing of any kind. Every job came from someone who had already had work done handing the number to a neighbor, a relative or a coworker. That is a slow way to build a business and a very demanding one — referrals only keep coming if the last job was genuinely right.
The work is residential: interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, fence staining, drywall repair, popcorn ceiling removal, and the kitchen, bathroom and general remodeling that Houston homes need as they age. Northwest Houston, Katy, Cypress, and out to roughly fifty miles in any direction.
Thirty years is long enough to know that the parts of this trade that matter are the ones you cannot see once it is finished — the washing, the scraping, the patching, the caulking and the priming. That is where a paint job is decided, and it is the first thing cut from a cheap quote. Every job starts with a free written price, and new customers get 10% off.

Licensing & Insurance
DM Prestige Remodeling is insured and operates under a registered DBA. Texas does not issue a statewide license for residential painting or general remodeling, so treat any contractor claiming to hold one with caution.
Ask us for the certificate of insurance when we come out to quote — and ask every other contractor bidding your job for theirs too. It is a reasonable question and anyone who is offended by it is telling you something useful.
